A great win for Clare. But the elephant in the room is
@GAAGO
. I was in a pub with 150 people…a place with the best of internet and 20-30 times during the game it froze and buffered. It’s simply not good enough.
@DaloAnto
I lived in OZ for 8 years and I loved their strict policy on people entering the country. Everyone goes through a visa process and those that add value to the economy can stay. Anyone arriving without documentation are kept separate from general population until vetted.
It’s been a good year for grass in West Clare and some places are still holding strong….but someone is glad to see a few of them back in the house all the same.
To be fair I thought I was specific enough in my search to avoid a sex toy being the first result. 🤷♂️ maybe it’s just one of those “people who bought this….also bought this”🙈
Donal Og: Clare have a tendency to blame everyone but themselves.
If that doesn’t rise a start out of the Clare team I dunno what will.
Look closer to home before statements like that.

FR7749 heifer calf to get us off the mark. Safe calving to all. Feels like a different time zone in West Clare to everyone else up and down the country. 😂

"July 19th. On this day, eh, Galway liberated from Indians...eh, Marathon becomes Snickers...aha Ted, Ice Age ends…….and a new era for Clare GAA begins”
My only regret from living in Australia and moving home, is I experienced the way a decent health and immigration system worked. To now hear the verdict on

He should be punished within the rules of the FA....not more so because it was a female. Anyone that has followed football knows Aguero is passionate. This could have happened male or female. Don’t make it a gender issue.
Don’t mind yer fancy collars for breeding season. Just have a 2 year old keep an eye on them through a fake pirates telescope.

This is some peat ground that is on my milking platform. I plan to still be milking cows in 2050 and I hope there is a generation to come that can farm this land. The NRL creates an uncertain future for my business and rural Ireland. What exactly have we signed up to?
@BrophShane
Landers said on the Irish Examiner podcast that Pairc Ui Caoimh doesn’t have Hawkeye. To me this is the single biggest reason, a game with so much in the line, should be in Thurlus.
I get there was a rainfall warning for Cork and Kerry but how Clare and Limerick wasn’t included is beyond me. 25mm in the last 5 hrs here.
@MetEireann
@CarlowWeather
6 acres in one block of peaty ground taken out by the leather jacket. Have chain harrowed, seeded and rolled in the evening. Have a couple more spots also. Any other advice?
Last few years of weather really exacerbated the problem.
@TeagascGrass10
Over 30 sire changes through the NGP 😖. Only 4 in last 4 years so at least things aren’t too bad going forward. 11 older boughten stock now without sires that were “guarenteed from AI” at the time. 😂

4 yr old: daddy do burgers come from cows?
Me: yeah who told you that?
4yr old: do the burgers come out of the cows bum?
Me: only the vegan burgers.
4yr old: that’s ok I only like beef burgers.
It’s the simple things make ya laugh.

Looking at the jet stream forecast, which has been largely blamed for the increasing run of low pressure fronts this spring, there looks like a clearance around the 17th April. Be better than nothing. 🙏

didn’t have an idea what was coming. Elderly community being left behind. Why bother paying a tv license at this stage.
That’s a few milkings and a grass walk covered. Il have a pint the weekend for every time someone mentions “what a good job Collins has done”

We have your back, he claims. Instead, this government is on the back of farmers and small businesses across rural Ireland. I outlined to the Dáil why I voted against the nomination of Simon Harris as Taoiseach.
@JamesOConnorTD
James, first thing you can do is ask your co council why the Midleton FRS has blown out by 5 years, putting homes and businesses at increased risk during this period. This project was meant to be complete.
Total rainfall up to Saturday night on two main models and it makes for sad reading with saturated ground that was just starting to dry a little. A chance of a break for Saint Patrick’s Day still on the charts though 🤞
This one aged beautifully. Cork fans going wild on the ref. They had 100 mins to win it and now Tis a jersey pull cost ye an all Ireland. 🤣
Take your beating and come back stronger next year.

app wouldn’t work, I had to login through the browser to get him going. Went to another place then with fibre internet and constant buffering. It’s so fucking frustrating.
@CarlowWeather
And ECMWF have a consistent high from 8th Aug onwards and GFS have low after low rolling through. The ECMWF outlook would not be bad at all if it happened.

“I think that is the beauty and tragedy of middle-tier counties. Really passionate strongholds, but ultimately pushing up a hill because it is simply a numbers game.” Stand out quote for me. Great article.
Reflective of the club game as a whole in many counties.
The new
@icbf
app is a excellent to track genotypes. However I’m starting to get concerned that samples that were in the lab 3 months ago still don’t have parentage verified. Is that not 1 of the main selling points of the NGP, verifying parentage of newborns?

@ExaminerSport
“We have no greater or no lesser amount of access or egress problems than any other stadium that would put through 40,000 or 45,000 people on any given afternoon”. In my opinion that’s not true. Thurlus and Limerick are much more accessible with better parking opportunities.
@SmallerFishGAA
Thurlus was never an option for whatever reason. Munster GAA wanted it in pairc ui caoimh but Clare forced their hand by offering to play it in limerick. If the ticket allocation is done correctly you’re guaranteed a bigger Clare crowd and I think it’s the correct call by Clare.
@MlMcNamaraTD
Dieback proving a real problem in Michael. Would love to change this section back to viable and productive grassland, instead it just sits there rotting. People need to be made aware of the many negatives and poor government policy around planting land.
@pauriclodge
One for you pauric. I was in clones today. Clare minors playing at 1pm on tg4. All fine but why couldn’t the football game be pushed back a half hour. Bout 150/200 clare supporters in clones today have missed out on watching Clare win an AI. Lack of organization from top down.
Jesus Christ someone would want to retire Michael Duignan. His bias against Clare is almost as bad as the dirty stroke he pulled on the field himself.
