What #Mets player do you think comes into the season feeling the most pressure? Lindor - Repeating his MVP caliber season & continued leadership to potential Captaincy. Vientos - Prove to everyone that he’s the real deal & not fall into the Sophomore jinx. Senga - Prove he is the true Ace of this staff, that he’s moved past his injury riddled season. Or my choice… Alonso - Coming back on a, call it what it is, 1yr $30M deal, after on/off negotiations, Pete Alonso needs a big year, not only for his next deal, but batting behind Juan Soto, he needs to be clutch, needs to hit better with RISP, he needs to make pitchers regret pitching around Soto to get to him. Alonso will be a vital piece to our success, all hands on deck to beat the LA Dodgers.

@sports_and_adhd The kid had a 7.85 ERA with a 1.64 WHIP in 7 starts in AAA last year. Can we not rush someone up and ruin his mindset right away.
