does anyone have experience using Hidden-Markov Models/HMM with GLM observations to track strategies or states over time? If so (and you are willing to discuss), please message me!!! Is the ability to predict subsequent trial behavior the gold-standard for validation?

I received a tidbit of advice: "You're a scientist...of course you are going to take your work home. However, don't forget to have an identity outside of your science. When, not if, the science doesn't go well, you still need to be a person." I liked that.
