@Kurt_Fraser @sanghalab U can break the little wings off the sides of the molex connectors if you need/plan to switch things out often. Iv done it plenty and makes it way easier. Tool is cool too (woah new tongue twister).

@dennis_a_burke @mohebial I think it’s ~$85 per jar (that’s $170 for the set… you know, math). I haven’t used metabond in a long time, but remember it taking longer to dry than this stuff. Iv been using this for like 10 years, it’s great.

@sciencejuls Seconding bottle brush test. We used it to assay irritability-like behaviors in mice during THC withdrawal. It’s described pretty well in that paper (NPP 2021) @StephRamos97 made a bunch of tutorial/example video clips and SOP for the assay that I’m happy to share.

@laubach_mark Hahaha got it. I get super noisy recordings with the OEP rig in our surgery room while trying to record while implanting, but not other rooms/setups. But I think we’re just using the wall wart that OEP comes with. Probably shielding issue for my case. Thanks, Mark!
