On 8th January 2024 we lost a member of INA Shri Kanai Sarkar. He was 125. He was among the very few people alive in the entire North Eastern region who had seen Netaji physically. According to his description, Netaji used to inspect all the training camps in regular intervals.

Arun Yogiraj, the sculptor of Netaji's statue in Delhi, stands underneath the canopy housing his work. This is to give an idea of the size of the statue. The 65 tonnes statue will stand without any damage for the next 100 years because its made of jet black granite.

The ideology of Bose & Gandhi differed from the very beginning. Bose was among the leaders who wanted Purna Swaraj or Complete Independence, but Gandhi wanted Dominion Status. Even Gandhi's successor (Jawaharlal Nehru) accepted Dominion status in 1947.
