@WhitlockJason The Beatles and Elvis missed out on Grammys because the voters of that era didn’t like that kind of music. I have no opinion on whether Beyoncé is deserving or not because I haven’t listened to the record, but connecting it to Grammy voters of the 50s and 60s tells us nothing.

@politicalmath I paid $3.99 for 12 at Aldi today where they had a full case of them, and a dozen was $4.39 at Target. Compare that to $7.99 and $8.99 at our two primary regional grocery chains. At some point someone will realize the grift here is legacy union grocery stores, right?

Thread worth following through the year. As generally awful as the Jim Bowden Experience was, Albaladejo for Clippard is an all-time great Nats trade. Fun to look back on.
1/9 – JONATHAN ALBALADEJO RHP, 2007 Posted 1.88 ERA in 14 games out of bullpen, then was traded to Yankees for Tyler Clippard. Made 49 total appearances for New York, finishing with 4.70 ERA.
