If you’re not checking on your athletes’ mental health outside of sports, you’re failing as a coach, in my opinion. We see athletes for maybe 10-15 hours a week. They have a lot more to juggle than workouts, practices and games. Care about them as people, not just athletes.

No better feeling than taking down Rose in a conference semi-final game. Been there, done that! Finish the job, gentlemen!!
AU men's soccer secured a massive win last night, defeating top-seeded Rose-Hulman 2-1 in the HCAC Tournament semifinals! The Ravens will play at Hanover Saturday at 1 p.m. for the conference tournament title!

1. Get 8-10 hours of sleep 2. Prioritize nutritious food 3. Drink lots and lots of water Stop thinking gimmicky “recovery” methods are going to help.
“Neither cold water immersion nor percussive massage showed any significant improvement in performance recovery over the 72-h period following strenuous eccentric exercise compared to passive rest. CWI showed an immediate performance decline which may be attributed to a cold-related reduction in motor nerve conduction velocity.”

Better environment than the men’s Final Four games. The NBA arenas are such a better option. Fans are much closer to the floor and the setting is much more intimate. You can actually feel the energy in the building.

Great morning of prep with @gracecollegewbb ahead of our NCCAA semi-final game this evening. RSI numbers are above each individual’s season avg going into the two final games of our season. That’s a testament to all the work they’ve done the past 11 months!
