Caregiver here. It is a good idea.🙏 If cannot get body to animal \ get the clothing so the pet can smell you are dead. Even if sick with long illness in hospital please bring your pet sick shirt \ gown so they understand. Did this when dad was hospitalized. He outlived 🐶.💐🙏💐
