Even when a rape victim could access abortions, 33% attempted suicide, 13% were successful. Imagine what those numbers are when you force a girl or woman to carry that pregnancy to term. The idea is so revolting & disgusting to some, they would rather die. I'm one of them.

I certainly never felt trapped. I had 3 children and a husband. If it weren't for my career, one of us wouldn't be alive today. I just could not stay home with them 24/7. They are all adults now. My pets are much more civilized than toddlers.

Two sets of rights can not co-exist in the same body. One of the two has to be stripped of their rights and put into involuntary servitude where one must give up their rights to serve another. My question is, why must it be the woman who gives up her rights?

SCOTUS ruled in McFall v. Shimp that there is no duty to rescue. We are not obligated to save another person's life if it puts our life in danger. Why would gestating another human, at Great risk to our own life be any different?

Our eyes were designed to see, but people wear glasses. Our feet were designed to walk on the ground, but we wear shoes. I took birth control for 30 years, no health problems, and the alternative would been a fate worse than death. I already had 3 of those rug rats.

Let's look at other conditions.
Pulmonary Hypertension - only 50% survival if someone gets pregnant and has this.
Ectopic Pregnancy - in spite of what you think, this is a dangerous situation that can cause internal bleeding. An abortion is always necessary.

Then why are you saying a fetus has the right to take over a body that doesn't belong to it, but a woman doesn't have the right to her own body? Let me answer. Since it is not a part of the woman's body, it has zero right to be there unless the woman gives permission.

This is why it is so important for my state, Arkansas, to get the sugnatures and pass the ballot initiative. It would be a lifeline for women in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Oklahoma.

Why should she be further traumatized by having to carry a rape baby for 9 months? In El Salvador, where abortion is banned, 6 out of 10 suicides are pregnant teen rape victims. Is that what you want to happen here? Teen girls who would rather die than give birth to that baby?

If a woman chooses to continue a pregnancy, she has made a commitment to deliver a healthy child. If she can't or won't make that commitment, then she should abort. She should never be forced to sacrifice herself.

As I'm sure you know, most hospitals won't allow resuscitation before 23 weeks. They forbid their doctors to expend resources on a baby that will due. Only palliative measures are allowed.
If you didn't know this, perhaps you don't know as much as you thought.

I agree 100%. I think she pulled this number out of her ass anyway. The numbers show that with self-managed abortions, the number of abortions has actually gone up by quite a large number. These folks are so uninformed that they take Lila's word for it. 🙄🙄

If I was raped and pregnant, and could not access abortion, I would end it for both of us, which is exactly what 33% of rape victims attempt. Suicide. The 2nd leading cause of death for pregnant women. The first being homicide followed by accidental drug overdoses.

Never had one. In fact I have 3 children, 5 grands and 2 greats, but I will argue you to the ground over a woman's right to abortion. I didn't need it but I was sure happy Roe v. Wade was there if I ever did. I want my daughters & granddaughters to have the same peace of mind.
