In response to the emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases in Uganda, NAWEC, in collaboration with Mukono District Health Office is training CHWs in Community Based Surveillance so as to strengthen their capacity to detect and report suspicious cases. #VHT @MinofHealthUG

The Uganda NGO Coalition, a network of organisations supporting CHWs across Uganda, convened at @Living_Goods offices to strategise for the year ahead. This collaborative meeting focused on key activities aimed at strengthening CHW support, professionalisation, & advocacy.

We are kicking off the year with a refresher training for CHWs in Mukono district! CHWs play a critical role in delivering quality healthcare at the community level, & regular training is essential to keeping them equipped with the skills and knowledge they need. @MinofHealthUG
