I’ve since learned you don’t need HR to care. You bring it to them as a formality so that if you should need to seek outside resources and pursue it further in the future you can say you’ve done your part. HR doesn’t need to care. You highlight the issue. If they do nothing

A couple weeks ago this dawned on me, someone deaf (who also never spoke/only signed) I know passed and given the scenario had she not been deaf she’d probably still be alive. She couldn’t yell for help. She’d been laying on the ground outside for at least an hour b4 anyone
