If I could pin any tweet it would be this. College baseball is extremely difficult, and going from playing every game of your life to sitting and being a role player is tough on your mental health. It’s a process that doesn’t happen overnight.
The amount of past high school 3 hole hitting SS’s and aces who start out as every day bench guys in college is staggering…
Hopefully, you’re not mentally weak

Hitters:
Have a plan this offseason. Too many young hitters are just hitting to hit. No plan at all. Find a coach that helps you train for what YOU need. Reps are just reps if there’s no focus to it. Too many 1 dimensional hitters now. All or nothing with no barrel control 🤷♂️

People get the idea that D3 is bad baseball and it’s not. Every kid nowadays thinks it’s “D1 or bust” when the reality is there’s D1 kids who should be playing D3, and D3 kids who should be playing D1.

Been up to 82.4 this off season on the mound with exit velocity’s in the upper 80’s 😤
Quick look at RHP Lucas Yoder (‘28, OH), athletic 5’9” frame w/ plenty of room to mature & add strength. Ran the FB up to 81 mph, located it effectively in all four quads. Sharper 11-5 BB that disrupted hitters’ timing. Effortless arm speed.
