Atmospheric moisture from our wx balloon this morning came in at 0.66" - which is below the 10th percentile for this time of year (see red star on climo curve below). Getting a day like this in the "sticky" time of year is a rare treat. Dry air hangs through tomorrow - enjoy it!

[210 PM] Scattered storms will continue to push east this afternoon. All storms will be capable of gusty winds and torrential downpours. A few strong or severe storms are possible, capable of winds which may cause localized tree damage. Stay weather aware!

[1240 PM] Showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop and increase in coverage as a cold front moves southeast across our region. Best coverage should develop along and southeast of the I-71 corridor late this afternoon into this evening.

[1150 AM] While areas of the Scioto Valley stand the highest relative chance for an isolated severe storm this afternoon (damaging wind the primary threat), any storm could bring locally gusty winds and torrential rainfall rates.

A cold front moving through the region today will bring a chance for showers and thunderstorms. A cooler and drier airmass will move in behind the front tonight into Thursday.

Given the latest radar trends and model solutions, the Flood Watch has been canceled now for all of our counties. There is not enough confidence to keep the Watch going through the night. However, scattered storms still expected to develop, which could provide locally heavy rain.
