It has been a long tradition here at NSU for the flags of our Nation & University to be displayed at the centerfield fence over Brown-Stroud Field.
Today, we are honored to add a
@LATech
flag.
It is with broken hearts that we share that WDSU lost a beloved member of our team today. Our hearts are with the McCord and Ensminger families at this time.
Our deepest condolences & sympathy are with the families of Samuel A. Taylor of Natchitoches & Michael Robichaux of Pineville in this time of loss.
Please keep our entire Demon family & community in your thoughts & prayers during this difficult time.
We are extremely grateful for all of the sacrifices made by everyone working in healthcare during this time.
We didn’t have enough thank you cards to send everyone, so we put up some billboards instead.
Over 3000 of our amazing students made it onto the NSU President's List, Dean's List, and Honor Roll with their academic success in Fall 2017. We couldn't be more proud of our 😈's!! Keep up the good work!! Check it out:
This morning, our President
@Dr_Maggio

He has served as president since January of 2017 & has been a member of our faculty, staff, & administration for 33 years.

Alum & former Executive Vice President Marcus Jones will serve as Interim President effective July 1 while a search for our 20th President gets underway.
The appointment was approved by the
@ulsystem
Board of Supervisors today.

All in-person and online classes are canceled through Labor Day and will resume on Tuesday, September 8.
University offices on all campuses will remain closed until further notice & could reopen depending on the availability of power restoration.
There's not a thank you card big enough to show our appreciation to everyone working around the clock to restore power to our state, so we put up some billboards to share our gratitude.
Our President,
@Dr_Maggio
, has been named to the North Louisiana Economic Partnership's Board of Directors for 2018-2019!! What a cool honor! Congratulations!!
More than half a century after he left college to serve his country, Robert Monroe “Johnny” Hays of Keithville will walk across the stage on May 10 & receive his degree.
