The Hockey News is incredibly excited to launch a brand new home for NHL projected lineups, depth charts and roster related news led by former CapFriendly depth-chart guru
@NHL_Rosters
:
There are five duplicate names in the NHL player pool right now (including prospects).
Sebastian Aho (CAR, PIT)
Ryan O'Reilly (NSH, DET)
Matt Murray (TOR, NSH)
Jack Hughes (NJD, LAK)
Elias Pettersson (both VAN)
Excited for what's next after running the
@CF_DepthCharts
account and managing the
@CapFriendly
depth charts for the last six years.
A new home has been found and a re-launch of the content will come this offseason.
Any help spreading the word would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Introducing the NHL Roster Report!
The plan is to create a new report every day with the latest injuries, transactions and starting goalies. The page will be updated throughout the day as news breaks.
Here's the first installment.
Carter Savoie has signed with TPS (Liiga).
Savoie spent the last 2+ seasons with the Bakersfield Condors. He was not given a qualifying offer by the Oilers this offseason.
G John Gibson turns 31 years old today. Gibson has three years left on his contract with Anaheim ($6.4M cap hit).
Feels like he's been rumored in trade talks forever. Still a Duck for now.

Sidney Crosby (T1)
Alex Ovechkin (T1)

Will you be using the same positions for players?
Cap friendly seemed to have one of the more accurate position for players than other places..
Filip Zadina půjde na zkoušku do kempu
@BuffaloSabres
. Naposledy hrál NHL za San Jose, v roce 2018 ho draftoval Detroit v prvním kole jako šestku. V Red Wings se sešel i s Jakubem Vránou, jehož čeká tryout v

Sorry for the lack of updates lately, but I snuck in a family vacation before training camps started. Only a few weeks until the start of the season...LET'S GO!
Late night update:
I've added an option to download a PDF version of the depth charts. You'll find a "Download PDF" link under the Projected Lineup header for each team.
This should help international visitors who are unable to view the embedded data.
Nic Petan has signed with Ak Bars Kazan (KHL).
Petan has played for the following teams in the last 9 years:

There are five duplicate names in the NHL player pool right now (including prospects).
Sebastian Aho (CAR, PIT)
Ryan O'Reilly (NSH, DET)
Matt Murray (TOR, NSH)
Jack Hughes (NJD, LAK)

Each depth chart will have a "Training Camp" section so you can easily see which players are still fighting for a spot.
Players invited to camp who are signed to AHL contracts are not included.
Today's NHL birthdays:
F Andre Lee - 24
F Marc McLaughlin - 26
F Sebastian Aho - 27
D Tyson Barrie - 33
D Alec Martinez - 37
Tyson Barrie is still unsigned.
An asterisk beside a contract expiry date indicates the player is signed to an extension. The cap hit shown is for the current year and will be updated after the next season.
The report about Filip Zadina signing a PTO with the Sabres is inaccurate.
His agent, Darren Ferris, told me that he's in the process of completing a contract for Zadina with another team.

Pavel Buchnevich (STL)
Garnet Hathaway (PHI)

Quick tip: If you click on a "data box", you can use the arrow keys to more easily scroll to the right.
I think the scrolling actually works pretty well on
