Today, the National Historical Commission of the Philppines will lead the commemoration of the 157th birth anniversary of Andres Bonifacio. Simultaneous flag-raising and wreath-laying ceremonies will be held in all prominent monuments to commemorate this historical event.

Yesterday, Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte issued Proclamation No. 1169, declaring a 10-day national mourning over the passing of former Pres. Benigno S. Aquino III, in w/c the National Flag shall be flown at half-mast.

ON THIS DAY in 2013, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Bohol and other parts of Visayas. Unfortunately, several heritage structures in Bohol were either severely impacted by the tremors.
