The Trojans are TSSAA Division II Class A Baseball State Champions after defeating Goodpasture 6-5. "The Mississippi boys are Tennessee State Champs!" The team went undefeated in the state tournament to secure the school's second state title in baseball. (First since 2009).

Trojans WIN! With expected rain and storms on Friday, NCS moved season opener to Thursday night. The Trojans were up 40-0 over the Wildcats at halftime. The game had a lightening delay and tornado warning, before being called. The Trojans W.I.N. and move to 1-0 on the season!
