Every year, I distance myself a bit more from the sport of FBS college football a bit.
It’s like until the Big Ten and SEC leave the NCAA, this will be the norm.
We will do it all again next t year when a 2-loss Alabama is in over a 0-loss Arizona.

The UMass administrations’ loyalty to the A10 has never made the most sense. UMass passed on joining for all-sports before, because of not wanting to leave the A10. Meanwhile, this is the 1993 A10 lineup. Only 5 schools remain. Even replacements have left.

I hope this also gives the schools in the region the opportunity to reevaluate their FCS goals in a time where all-sport non-FBS conferences are expanding regionally in negative ways.
I might be time to revisit the Yankee Conference with all of the NE regional schools.
Been thinking about this possible Sacred Heart independent situation and I can’t think of a better time to be an FCS independent in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic than now. MEAC schools have to schedule 6 non-cons a year. Sacred Heart better get on the phone with the MEAC soon
