Escambia Co. - A new traffic signal at the intersection of Nine Mile Rd and Ashland Dr intersection will be placed in flash mode beginning Tue, Feb. 4. On Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 10 a.m., the traffic signal will be fully activated with standard green, red, and yellow lights.

Santa Rosa Co. - A new traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 98 (Gulf Breeze Pkwy) and Soundside Dr will be placed in flash mode beginning Tue, Feb. 4. On Wed Feb. 12, at 10 a.m. the traffic signal will be fully activated with standard green, red, and yellow lights.

Okaloosa Co. - A segment of Brooks Street will be temporarily closed beneath Brooks Bridge in Fort Walton Beach Wednesday, Feb. 5 and Thursday, Feb. 6. This temporary closure will be in place while crews perform drainage work and reconstruct this section of Brooks Street.

Pier Park Dr. will be closed south of the U.S. 98 intersection Mon, Jan. 27 through Mon, Feb. 3. Construction crews will be installing drainage beneath the roadway. U.S. 98 drivers requiring access to Pier Park may detour using Powell Adams Rd.

Motorists should remain alert as patches of ice are scattered along portions of the state highway system in NW Florida. FDOT de-icing crews are treating these areas and will continue operations into the weekend. Be extra cautious in shaded areas and on/below bridges & overpasses.
