Going to be watching Dr Who, Sarah Jane and Torchwood (Maybe Class if I can put myself through that again) and then once I’m all caught up, I’m going to rank everything in one long list!

Am I the only one that finds Doctors not acknowledging past companions being mentioned quite disrepectful and rude? Like these people have SAVED YOU numerous times but someone brings them up years later and you don’t even acknowledge it 🤷♂️ Idk, it just feels weird to me

I love how RTD's era had such a focus on the families of the companions, meaning we felt like they were actually leaving a life behind. Classic Who tends to feel like the companions have no life outside of the TARDIS that they're missing out on.

I think the claim that Chibnall saved Dr Who from cancellation is an overexaggeration. The BBC were probably going to cancel the season that was scheduled for 2021 because Covid happened, but they weren’t necessarily going to cancel the entire show

Personally, I don’t mind the backdoor evictions. They have to whittle it down somehow, and if it causes tension and drama within the show, then it works for me. Also, with Halloween approaching, it the perfect reason for a backdoor eviction 🫤

The scene where Alt Pete and Jackie meet each other for the first time is so beautiful. It's such a glorious moment and their conversation is funny, and heartwarming. It's so lovely to see these people find the person they love again, despite losing them once already!

Captain Jack Harkness - 95%
A very beautiful episode that explores sexuality and the mystery surrounding Captain Jack. With strong performances all around, including Murray Melvin who plays a deliciously evil villain. It's one of the strongest episodes of Torchwood and I love it!

I genuinely believe this is one of the best episodes of Doctor Who. Pitting two of the most notable enemies against each other was genius, the departure of Rose Tyler was heartbreaking and this episode broke my 4y/o heart back in 2006. In 2023, it still stands up!
