@SpaceGhost_42 I reckon LC3 is a lot closer to finished than it looks. The new split section Neutron will not need as much infrastructure as would a 45m tall rocket. Basically throw the pieces on the back of trucks and crane them together on site. The launch site doesn't have to look "pretty".

@francisco_space Really liked that the presenter himself is a happy investor. No mention of Neutron though.

@francisco_space 💯 with you on that. Perhaps this stuff is too commercially sensitive for Rocket Lab to talk about. Frustrating for us investors but I fully trust Sir Peters Beck and team. Earnings call will be a must watch/listen. So much going on.

@HypaWaveNZ @RocketLab The core module is a bit like a rechargeable battery pack like my Ryobi One Plus.

@mottbox_ Recent comments on the live launch stream that LC3 infrastructure is "done and dusted" and now this render of complete LC3 and detail of the brilliant Neutron stacking operation makes me confident that LC3 is indeed very close to completion. It's a much "simpler" set up.

@KenKirtland17 Ah ha, it all makes sense now. For a long time I've been trying to figure out how they would transport and lift a 45m rocket up onto that launch mount.

@daveginvesting Could it be that Rocket Lab is not willing to cut their prices for this? It would be nice to think they are in a position to cherry pick what they go for. I might be a bit optimistic here😁

@francisco_space @Peter_J_Beck has often said they like to get paid to learn - very smart. When Mars sample return came up, I thought what a pity RKLB hadn't done their own moon landing for experience but with so much involvement with Blue Ghost they will have! Go Blue Ghost!

@trypto_tran @BrettKrieger12 @Christo43928619 @daveginvesting This would suggest that Neutron is transported vertical from the Assembly & Integration Complex adjacent to the NASA Wallops Flight Facility over to Wallops LC3. Yikes! 45 meters tall rocket! Breakover doesn't sound so bad. Must be conflicting information out there.

@trypto_tran @BrettKrieger12 @Christo43928619 Thanks Tran, Most interesting. I suppose it's obvious that transport will be horizontal, then "breakover" tilting to vertical. "lifting apparatuses" is intriguing. They've many times stated no strongback for Neutron so maybe that's for Electron, "role may support electron" etc.

@BrettKrieger12 @Christo43928619 I seem to remember SPB saying that LC3 wouldn't need to be 100% finished for the first launch so that may be closer than it looks. I still puzzle over how they will lift Neutron onto the launch mount. SPB has talked about how they won't tilt it up - no strong back for Neutron.
