Five Islamist MPs in parliament already and several other Labour MPs including Jess Phillips barely beat Islamist candidates We all know that Muslims will ditch Labour as soon as they have the numbers and form an Islamist party headed by Sadiq Khan. I take it you’ve already been guaranteed a cabinet position?

@LeftieStats @JLPartnersPolls A lot could change before 2029, but a Labour/Green/Independent pact might actually keep Reform out of government. Probably be a disaster in the long run though, as they’d disagree on everything, and nothing would be built or done, so we wouldn’t fix the structural problems…

@AnalyticaCamil1 Wish more people “got” this! Particularly that election of Hamas in the first place was more because of PA corruption than Israeli occupation or inherent extreme ideology. Same with Syria, Afghanistan, Sahel.

@johnxrankin @ZoomerHistorian That’s the bowling guy right? He has some good points, and I agree some of us lefties have our heads in the sand. I think he’s more optimistic overall tho (as opposed to police state or anarchy dichotomy), and seems to think more social activities would help. Including bowling!

@beevusindeedus @ZoomerHistorian True, but I think if we hugely increase housing stock so youngsters have a stake in society, and have visible and effective police, almost nobody would want or be able to attack or rob “the other”. 2011 rioters, 2024 rioters, and jihadi groups have more in common than they think

@johnxrankin @ZoomerHistorian It’s only a problem when there’s too much competition over too few resources, and law enforcement is corrupt or ineffective. Fix that, and nobody really cares.

Is this another foreign scammer who’s never been to the UK, or just an idiot? I’ve had the pleasure of living around plenty of home-grown chavs who’d love to trash something like this. PS shopkeepers regularly leave their goods unattended in Iraq.
A few decades ago you’d find these all over the country, now it’s only in the extremely British areas. Immigration is what changed. Foreigners steal, we don’t. Name the problem.

@tomhfh The rules should be stricter for politicians than the general public imo. They should know better than to say things that could be used as kompromat in the wrong hands.
