Getting to dive in to text with these students is so exciting! They have so many connections to draw that help others learn.
Pair a great fiction that has an embedded empathy lesson and non-fiction book on the topic with a craft and writing, and you get the most engaging afternoon. The info learned, connections made, excitement, and discussions were 🙌@MsWayTeaches @FultondaleElem @JEFCOED
