I read this two years ago because I wanted to read more classical lit. I had no clue what it was about, only that I had heard of it before. To say it was a shocking read is…and understatement 😂
Reading Wuthering Heights currently as my grown up bedtime story and y'all did NOT sufficiently prepare me for how weird this book is. Charlotte was the normal sister, apparently, and Emily was Strange.

@Eschatology22 I was very very into dispy stuff before 2020….literally everyone was talking about “the shadow of the tribulation” and to keep an eye on the sky, etc. it was prevalent that they simply truly believed that the rapture was going to happen very soon and thus the tribulation.

@Momsplaining101 Currently pregnant with my 8th, mid-30’s….definitely easier as a 20yo! This lady is talking about an ideal that almost no one will have. Who, in the year of our Lord 2025, has perfect hormones and health? No one.

I mostly think he has a story that is nothing like I have been told, I just don’t know what it is as I haven’t found it yet

@adamtheduell I once allowed my daughter to watch a movie on our iPad and I came to check on her shortly after and she was watching a different movie, that she had purchased on Amazon. Not rent. Purchase. lol I think it was Finding Dory. Like $20 🤦♀️

@wife_ofbrian For my first, I called off of work at least once a week for awhile. And took a nap on my office floor every single day. And subjected people to noises in the one bathroom we had that was right in the common area that I’m sure no one wanted to hear. 10/10 don’t recommend lol

This is still on the parents for killing their own child. This baby deserved a chance even if it was disabled and wouldn’t live long. Our culture has zero value for life. Zero respect for giving someone a death that is dignified and in God’s timing.
This piece is absolutely infuriating, damning, and in a just world would lead to much more education and caution about relying on pre-natal testing for decisions about life and death
