In P.E this week P1 played tunnel Tig to warm up. Then they practised using a tennis racket with a bean bag and managed to flip their pancakes! Some even counted all the way to 10 flips! They finished by playing a rally by passing the beanbag to their partner. 🎾 #DunipacePE

Today we made these amazing 🎵'Three Craws'🎵puppets to use at our P1-3 Celebrating Success assembly tomorrow. Thank you to the generous parents who handed in the socks and materials, its much appreciated 👍 We look forward to seeing you at 9.30am tomorrow 🕤 #DunipaceAchieve

Thank you to Debbie @LibFalkirk and Denny Library for a lovely visit last week. P1 loved doing the book scavenger hunt and then spent some time reading and choosing some books to take back to school using our class library card. Thank you to our fab parent helpers too! 📚

Using oil pastels helped us show all the different and vibrant colours used by @stevenbrownART in his McCoo paintings. We also enjoyed reading his book Harris McCoo and the Rainbow Haggis 🌈#DunipaceArt

P1 looked at the paintings of famous artist Steven Brown and loved his colourful Highland Coos. They used oil pastels to recreate their own McCoo artwork #DunipaceArt @stevenbrownART

What talented children! They painted a Scottish landscape with grey skies, hills in the background and a loch in the foreground. Then they added a mysterious monster who may or may not lurk in the waters! Fantastic final pieces of artwork #DunipaceArt

A wee reminder that the judges will be in school on Monday to listen to children reciting their Scottish poetry. Keep practising and remember to add in expression and actions and use a big loud, clear voice. 👍

P1 had lots of fun yesterday making some Scottish shortbread. They looked at the equipment needed and learned their names and followed a recipe to weigh out the 3 ingredients. #DunipaceMaths #DunipaceIDL
