"Better Man" is a strange creature as a biopic; that much is a given. However, it was the portrayal of Robbie Williams' relationship with his Nan, Betty, that I didn’t expect to be anywhere near as good as it actually was. The warmth, the love, and that emotional gut punch at the end were entirely down to Alison Steadman’s exceptional performance onscreen.

I think that was the best ending of a sitcom ever. I love Gavin and Stacey so much and it was a perfect end to the story. Even though it seemed predictable that they would end up together, there was still part of me that thought Nessa was just going to sail away😂 Tidy.
