@gnievchenko @DJSnM It doesn't seem like this is a reality yet: " its biofuels manufacturing facility in Louisiana – the largest in the world for making SAF from the FT process – that will produce 13,000 barrels of SAF each day when it begins operations in 2028."

@stanfordNYC @ChrisCo512 @JohnArnoldFndtn You also need an engine to harness liquid fuels in a useful way. The original post is so wrong it has to be engagement bait

@JohnArnoldFndtn 1000MW is only its electric output, after losses through the steam system and friction in the turbine etc.. The reactor is actually putting out about 3x more than that in heat. So it's likely somewhere around 150-180GJ/min for a 1000MW nuclear plant not 60 GJ/min

@ConciergePixel @JohnArnoldFndtn Well, not exactly. Up to ~24 hoses. The original post said "nuclear plant", which can/do contain multiple reactors. One of the most recently built nuclear plants, Barakah in the UAE, has an electrical capacity of 5600MW. Kashiwazaki-Kariwa plant in Japan has a 7965MW capacity.

@retro748 @caroll19880404 @energybants I have translated the image for you. Be careful she blocks people who point out her lies. Or those who poke holes in her fear, uncertainty, and doubt-spreading. She is an activist but misguided and emotional. Her heart is probably in the right place though
