Today is Lem’s birthday. He was an inspiration and a true rock an roller. I miss him everyday but he left us all with some great memories. So today raise a glass in honour of him. RIP brother.
Very sorry to hear today the sad news about Eddie Clarke... his iconic riffs inspired many and will remain dear in our hearts.... RIP FAST EDDIE CLARKE
Great album, sadly the other 3 guys are not around. Amazing memories though... and our first Grammy nomination which was totally unexpected. Our first album recorded in LA
Hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Years Eve tonight. Just a reminder that you can still vote for
@myMotorhead
every day to help induct us into the

Hall Of Fame.
Very happy for my band to have won DEBUT ALBUM OF THE YEAR award this evening at Metal Hammer awards. Very proud of them and a hat tip to the production of
@longwaveromesh
A heartfelt thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes today. I’ve read every single one but not enough time in the day to reply to them all. Cheers you lot🎸👍🎂
Writing from home today on the beautiful Gibson Les Paul Junior Special Plus. It was a favourite a mine live and was actually a birthday gift from Lem a long time ago
I believe this is also by Boiko Roa. I thought it was a photo at first. This was the only time I ever went to Lems left for the metropolis finger. Turned out it was our last ever gig in Berlin... hell of a painting! It’s copied from a photo but it’s stunning!
Happy to announce that my debut solo album “Old Lions Still Roar” will be out later this year. “Old Lions Still Roar” will include performances by the likes of

All the Motorhead and Bastard Sons family are shocked and saddened to hear about the passing of Taylor Hawkins. He was one of the best. Our condolences go out to his family, friends and the Foo Fighters.
When your wife constantly tells you you have way too many guitars then gets you a Les Paul junior for your birthday! I’m a very lucky and grateful guy.
Proclaiming April 8th a national day of appreciation for David George Hilsden, “Hobbs”. Motörhead’s man behind the desk and jack of a thousand trades for over 30 years. It would have been his 73rd birthday today. Raise your glass, he was the guy that always turned it up!
Sad to hear of the passing of Burke Shelley. I played support to them as far back as Persian Risk days. They were pioneers and produced some of the heaviest riffing you could imagine. Thoughts are with his family. RIP welsh hero.🎸
