Re-upping this. RN I feel like the entire Dem model for winning elections is broken. Too much emphasis on message testing, paid media, & analytics; field that only revs up a few weeks before the election, heavy reliance on celebrity surrogates and outsider volunteers vs locals.
Those millions of Harris-Walz voters being door-knocked, phoned and texted right now? They’re nowhere near as locked down as the numbers might suggest.
