First day was hard. Baby girl refused to get inside her classroom. Had to beg the teachers to allow me to sit in with her, and calm her down a little bit. Am told the afternoon swimming sessions were much better today, plus ice cream helped. Hoping tomorrow gets easier. ❤️

I worked at res, opened a tuck shop in my room, worked as a tutor in 2 departments, worked at the library and still somehow it was all not enough. We need to stop lying to poor students that side gigs can help pay for tuition. Higher education must be free. 🤞🏾
When I did my undergraduate I worked at a restaurant, the money was still not enough to pay for my tuition, accommodation & books fees I needed NSFAS.

No, read the entire thesis. That’s why it’s called a publication, they are all publicly available. Not everything can be neatly and cutely packaged in bite size pieces for you to consume. Read the whole thesis, its context, methodology and the contribution to the field. Its NB.
Guys also post your thesis’s and the value they are adding onto the country’s research and development landscape. Summarise and do threads for us. We should also normalise celebrating the actual knowledge not just the gowns
