Flexed to Extended VS. Extended to Flexed Receiving Study:
This past season, catchers following one of the two methods above were constant with top end talent. While catchers following the generic "stick where pitched" method fell behind.

We need more of this!! In all areas involving baseball for that matter.
It’s easy to get overly concerned with what it looks like (good or bad) and forget, the only thing that plays is production.
I get tagged in A LOT of posts like this, here are my thoughts:
I care 0% what it “looks” like to spectators, & I put 100% emphasis on results.
He, w/ many other MLB Cs, have improved their stats greatly using techniques like this.
If it produces better results I’m all in.

I could be wrong here, but doesn’t this question apply to any adjustment the player could make? Regardless of how many knees they’re set up on.
COACHES: Whose decision is it for a catcher to catch in a one knee setup? Do you make that decision, or does the player make that decision?

What an absolutely honor it was to work with Mike. One of the best people to be around and he will be greatly missed by many.
The entire Minnesota Twins organization is saddened by the death of current bench coach Mike Bell, who passed away today at the age of 46 from cancer.
At the request of the Bell family, we will play tonight’s game in honor of Mike.

When you coach catchers try pulling back the layers first and see what the athlete has and can give you. Often we get too anxious to add and fix before we know what we're actually working with!

HP umpires get a lot of criticism.Consider these #’s from Mike Petriello. In 2021 of 182,196 pitches out of the SZ only 759 were called balls. 99.2% of pitches in the SZ were called K’s.Let’s pump the breaks on the “robo ump.” Why don’t we give managers x number of challenges?
