One way to look at it is that it's safer to plan for the "higher amount" to be well prepared. Better that way than under-prepared. I think about 2" or so is expected ALONG I-195.

❓❄️Here's a compilation of the snow/sleet reports taken from reported totals to the NWS. Our forecast was a bit too high at the top of NJ (Sussex, northern Passaic, NW Bergen counties) because the sleet infiltrated way farther north than anticipated. @News12NJ #NJwx
