As for our next storm Tuesday night, the storm has trended weaker & south of #NYC… *but* ❄️👀 There’s room for the storm’s north side to be more expansive with higher ratio (fluffier) snow. I still see solid potential for 3-6” for NYC but time is running out. Updates tomorrow!

As expected, heavy #SLEET is falling across most of #NYC 🧊 I was just outside and it’s like ICE BALLS falling from the sky, super big pellets! #Snow total of 2.1” in #Brooklyn before changeover. Please be extra careful if you have to be outside!

Depsite the #sleet at the onset, some #snow is mixing in for #NYC right now ❄️ New #HRRR has dynamic cooling with VERY HEAVY precip to keep the city more snowy than icy for 2-3 hrs. Given the model was too cold earlier, coast likely stays sleet, northern parts see a few inches!
