Is anyone else as fed up of bashing of Roman Catholic church in Ireland that has reached vitriolic levels post referendum? I'm not an apologist for the well documented wrongs committed by the institutional church but this hatred as got to stop.

@sioradain Once conception occurs and there is a little human there- that child has a fundamental right to be born irrespective of what the parents' 'choice' might be. Choice refers to chocolate, clothes and holidays - fripperies - not human life.

I really hope Pope Francis doesn't hold back with his comments re sanctity of life during his visit. I want gov to squirm. They can delude themselves all they like that they are legislating for the common good, blah blah blah, but killing the unborn is just plain wrong and evil.
