My little brother, best friend, & my hero was shot twice early this morning responding to a domestic violence situation. It doesn’t look good. Our family could use all the prayers you have please. Much love from the Blakelys.

My son Bo was diagnosed with epilepsy around 14 months old. Today, 3 months before he turns 12, we were told via a Skype appointment with Bo’s neurologist, he is done with treatments & meds!. One happy Dad!!!!!!.

Tucker went on a mission trip to Honduras when he was a student at Powell High School. He spent his time painting buildings & playing soccer with local children.

My wife, son, & I just finished up lunch at Knoxville’s jewel, Louis. I go hobbling around looking for my check & I’m told that a customer picked up my family’s tab and they wanted to remain anonymous. To whoever did this, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

In honor of my brother, my parents wanted blue Christmas lights. They had mentioned this to a friend. Yesterday, some men show up with blue Christmas lights & firehouse subs. They fed my parents & hung the lights. They wanted nothing in return. Wow! Thank you!

Walked out of the Maynardville Little Caesars with 6 pizzas in route to a meeting. A young teenager held the door open and said have a great day sir. There are still mothers and fathers raising children the right way. Impressive young man!.

My son is learning how to use the weed eater. His 1st task was to weed eat the fenced in back yard where the dogs do their business. Son- "dad, I hit a big pile of crap with the weed eater.". Me- "did you have your mouth closed?". Son- "yes". Me- "you just passed level 1.".

This past spring my son for the 1st time in his life was able to come off his seizure meds. For 11 years meds put shackles on him socially. My sons school, family, & friends can’t believe the change. I am one proud Dad. The greatest honor I’ve had is the privilege to be his Dad.

When I knew that I succeeded as a dad:.When my son was 4 we were shopping at a Food City in Ky. While in the store my son started taking down all of the Ky decorations. I put the decorations back & explained that he couldnt do that. Once in the car I told him I was proud of him.

Back in August we were notified of 2 individual state championships in wrestling. We wanted to make sure those wrestlers received recognition for their accomplishments. We officially added the 2005 & 2006 individual Wrestling State Championships to the sign.
