You can get to all these bordering countries without any checks. Went to Slovenia and could cross over to Italy no problem and no check. Switzerland to France no checks, Germany to Austria too. Assuming he came through one of the bordering countries and drove through.

Weighing in as a school governor. Recommend people to volunteer to be one FYI…anyway, I feel they need to change because we do need to have something or someone to at least be making sure schools are adhering to certain things right but generally
What’s your view on Ofsted inspections?
Personally, I don’t think they provide any real value… especially when they’re measuring schools (with vastly different challenges to each other) against each other.

Been taking b vitamins specifically b12, biotin, iron, magnesium,vit c, d and e and sea kelp and definitely has helped moods massively and the tiredness. Also calcium. Basically take a few at a time but it’s helped me so much.

Childcare alone with eat that. 10.42 is not worth getting off those benefits especially if you have kids. Someone single would get minimal top up if any. With kids you are not required to look for work I think if your kids under 5. So why come off benefits. To struggle even more
Work doesn’t pay in many of these backwater cities lol why would people forfeit their benefits to struggle even more??

Never got the whole plastic grass this. Seen it and walked on it. Its feels horrible and plastic. It also looks minging. It should be banned tbh. No need for it
I am so concerned about the use of plastic grass that if anyone on here is considering using it I will give you alternative advice ( free )as to how to landscape without it. If I can stop one square meter being layed it's worth the effort.

Absolute BS this is. Goes to mention £82 per month ot child benefit. I have 2 kids and I work. One in nursery, 1k per month, after school club £7 per day. They needs clothes, food and I need to pay utilities plus for a roof over our heads.

Right now I feel that is their main goal. To get ALL schools to academies. If a school is scored inadequate then academy fast lane. The government are driving for it. Post covid expect a LOT of schools to be downgraded. A LOT.

It’s not an argument I’m willing to have. But parenting classes and parental punishment needs to be a thing for parents with these wayward ones. Some parents are just not taking their responsibilities seriously. If your child is wayward, punishment for you and your kid.
Some of u think youth clubs will solve every social problem in our communities… and that leads me to believe you weren’t really outside like that bcos many “youth clubs” were in fact not holy sanctuaries for protecting da yoof… they actually used to breed more trouble 🤣

A school I’m governor is SEND. Ofsted sent HMI with no SEND experience and questioned how the curriculum is taught in a SEND School because it’s not being taught like mainstream 🤦🏾♀️.
Then there is the big drive to get schools to all be academies.

We need to teach history properly in British schools because Nazism is a whole mess and needs to have been discussed in it’s entirety including its evolution because can we discuss how the ideology came to be and how millions of people ended up dying.
