Luca is not only a wonderful human being but one of the key activists struggling against death at the Mediterranean border. While not surprising, it's still shocking that he and others were targeted and hacked. Full solidarity with @lukacasa!!

Always nice to see when another one of Europe's 'innovative' migration policies fails, at least for now. Taxpayers will be happy that the deportation of the 12 men to #Albania cost €250,000 & more for their trip to Italy today. All quite desperate.

So it begins, from the sea straight to prison. The first group of migrants was selected at sea & brought by Italy's navy to the detention centre in #Albania. A carceral seascape, in slightly different manifestation to how I wrote about it a few years ago:
