If not mistaken this same Peter Thiel & his Palantir company is the same man/ company to whom the "NHS loving/ NHS clapping" Tory party @Conservatives have given our NHS medical records, FREE OF CHARGE, when they were private information and worth hundreds of billions of dollars.

Palantir’s founder Peter Thiel, said the NHS ‘makes people sick’ and that it should embrace privatisation. He even described the British love of the NHS as “Stockholm Syndrome”, and the whole organisation should be ripped up and started again.

@szetoinsitu @danhockenmaier @mercerron No, quite the contrary: egalitarian structures might be more stable and enduring, when done right. If everyone buys into the philosophy, then everyone knows what to expect. You cannot fight each other to build your own little siloed empires so easily in that environment.

@fastworkers6 Why harvest the "bad" (unripe) tomatoes in the first place? So that the overall process can be industrialized? Why not develop a machine that can selectively pick the ripe tomatoes at the best possible time for quality/ price premium, and make three or four passes over the field?

@johnkonrad Very true. Have you read Ken Privatsky's book "Logistics in the Falklands War?" It is an eye opening look at how heavily the British military depended on the merchant marine for getting ashore and moving around the islands? A neglected merchant marine almost lost it for Britain.

@bfry1981 @olliecarroll The people of Donetsk & Luhansk are not pro-Russia rebels! Their political representation was subverted by a deliberate Russian intelligence & bribery campaign. Their security was subverted by Russian infiltrators including regular military disguised as "humanitarian aid workers"

@jurgen_nauditt That tank crew member in the hatch on the left of our view is so fat I am amazed he can even get in and out of the tank without getting stuck and needing the rest of his crew to shove or pull to get him in or out. Or is the tank especially small? Do they drive a half sized model?

@Jojo67460456 @Zubhaque At this point, it is also selective: they ordered the NHS to prioritise vaccinations by age only... and by this point, they have only vaccinated those over 50 - less directly exposed as less economically active; but more likely to be Tory voters... Purely coincidental, I am sure!

@HuXijin_GT Right, because China has never funneled weapons into a warzone (like Viet Nam), or made excessive territorial claims (Tibet, South China Sea), or forced ideologically/ culturally/ politically diverse peoples to assimilate (Uighurs). China has shown us a better way. Is that right?

@lotternine @sball11 @HarleyShah Unlikely due to increasing confidence in criminal justice system at this time, while it is collapsing due to the current government's wilful neglect! Surely that cannot explain a fourfold increase in reported rates. More likely due to increasing rates of sexual assaults. Ominous!

@tom_watson It was time for a Mueller-style inquiry TWO YEARS AGO! Where has @UKLabour been? Better late than never! So what are you going to DO? Will we have a public inquiry or well-funded legally-backed investigation into the international organised crime syndicate destroying our country?

@SpitfireUK1941 @igorsushko And no wonder, when Russia lets criminals out, while sending honest men (especially security forces) to die in an unjust war.

@jurgen_nauditt Germany didn't make the delivery contingent on Hungarian ratification of Sweden's accession to NATO? That looks incredibly negligent. Why not?
