Why is there so much division regarding what happened at Manchester Airport? It’s quite clear at least two officers used excessive force. Regardless of what happened before, in their position, you have to keep your head. Not go kicking someone’s head who is no longer a threat.

Did anyone else go to ‘The Church’, when serving? Kings Cross, early 2000’s. Then on leaving blurry eyed, across to Backpackers. Could get in free with Forces ID, fill up a bag with beer and ice- then join the crowds for a few hours of worship! 🤣 ‘Good Afternoon Sinners!’

Total bullshit.
We've matched over 1000 this week alone, with hundreds of families settling every week in communities across the Nation. Officials in Defence, Home Office, DHLUC and many others working tirelessly - changing lives every day.

has been working in bridging accommodation since Sept ‘21 and have been banging the drum on resettlement needing to be centralised. Each department/Local Authority/Charity are trying as hard as possible with the cards we have been dealt but it’s so fractured and

2 years we’ve been friends and it’s certainly a laugh a minute when we get together. Crazy how things work out- dropped me a message over FB during Afghan Evacs, made it to the UK months later and I was the first to greet them in a bridging hotel and now a super volunteer for us.

….We aimed to establish a space where diverse backgrounds unite through food. More than a meal though, it's about sharing stories, creating bonds, and embracing cultural richness.
We are really looking forward to our 2nd Community Kitchen at The Pallant Centre this Friday in
#Havant
. A hub where people from different backgrounds can come together to cook and share meals that reflect their cultures.

. Trina and a select few have worked tirelessly to advocate and casework for those left behind…and, some charities pulled in ££££’s and haven’t fulfilled their promises which put more pressure on. As a whole the UK must do better.
For more than two years, Afghans have waited patiently to be evacuated to the UK, whilst being actively hunted by the Taliban.
Everyone, from MOD staff to directors to ministers promised us that each case was being assessed on its individual merits.

again… the local communities got behind us so quickly as people were moving to bridging accommodation and delivered upwards of 2500 packs and and here we are 2 years later involved in supporting those leaving. So proud of our Forces and communities

This is just one evenings of pick ups here in Emsworth. Our church is full, our volunteers are now taking items back to their own places and our hub will certainly be put to use this weekend. It really has been heartwarming, people obviously felt a connection and understood.

We met this family after the first ten days of arriving in the UK and we still see them now as they live close to me. It truly is heartwarming to read Muzhda’s words and see them settling into life in the UK. She wanted everyone to see her words and to say thankyou to our Forces.
Moved by the beautiful words from Muzhda NuriStani, a resilient soul we met in 2021 after their evacuation by British Forces. Witnessing their journey and settlement in the UK is truly heartwarming.

I think this was a first for many of us- The Ukrainian priest giving a service in the UK, Canon Tom of St Faiths at points speaking in unison with the priest and us all praying and singing together. We think 120++++ people attended

Looking back on moments meeting evacuees in the UK and visiting the Ukrainian border reception center. My heart aches seeing the profound sorrow of those forced to abandon their homes. The lingering pain etched in peoples faces will stay with me.
