There's much to complain about in the terrible new NYT op-ed about TCM, but my personal favorite is the bit about Zaslav texting about watching Miracle on 34th Street. Did the author accidentally out him watching AMC? Because we know TCM rarely airs it because of licensing.

Seeing Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind in the Chinese Theater was truly incredible. The sound, the picture quality, and Spielberg of course. The biggest possible upgrade from the recorded-off-TV VHS I had watched for years as a kid.
