This is what makes you think that aging is complex. Of the >1000 brains that underwent post mortem analysis, 94% had evidence of at least one pathology, 78% had 2 or more, 58% had 3 or more while 34% had 4 or more. Remarkably >230 different combinations of pathology were found!
