I hadn't even left my street and I was abused by a driver for cycling in his way even though I was acting perfectly safely, he didn't have enough room to pass parked cars so somehow he felt it was my fault

"It'll be an absolute disaster", say some businesses.
We say, "Here's research. Huge opportunity. Half of city's residents live within a 10 min cycle of the route. Can Galway be the new Amsterdam?"

I as a councillor also could only rubber stamp the Bye Laws, no process for changing them was open to me
