There was a sniper on a roof beside Trump , with the perpetrator in his sight line and he still got shots fired.

Perhaps the early Christians equated it to circumcision .. and I believe holy communion is for a young adult to dedicate their life to Christianity.
I don’t know if this is a problem or not . Scripture says to be baptized but it doesn’t say when.

Why wouldn’t they be available? We are still in the church age. Jesus said He would send us His Comforter … the Apostles all knew Him personally and saw Him. We are the church and the Holy Spirit is necessary.
Therefore the Gifts still apply.
