@xgigglypuff @appodlachia I grew up broke, no car, in a rough Roanoke suburb. I ended up at Harvard. It's possible, yes, but also uncommon. If I had a learning disability, got a girl pregnant young, had a parent who needed care, etc. etc., it would have derailed me. Takes hard work+lots of support & luck.
