At 2pm this afternoon my beautiful mother passed away at the age of 95. We were lucky to spend 5 days with her last week and I was able to have a call with her yesterday to tell her I loved her and that she was the best mother a boy could have.
I’m gutted and heartbroken.

Eight years ago today, I got to say I Do at our Disneyland Fantasy Wedding to the man I love. It was one of the most magical days from beginning to end. A destination wedding with 95 friends/family, who spent the rest of the weekend with us at Disneyland. Amazing memories.

While at Cafe Orleans, a guy comes up and asked if we had a Disneyland wedding. He told us that he googled Disneyland gay wedding and tons of stuff came up for us. Said we were the reason he and his husband had a Disneyland wedding and used our photographer too.

It’s called Mett and it’s a German and Belgium thing. Usually has lots of spices and onion. It’s not widely eaten anymore but the Midwest was settled primarily by Germans and brought the tradition with them. No I haven’t tried it. 🤣

What a memory from today back in 2015. The guy told us to not touch her. We walked around the corner, she ran up and grabbed us and said here are my boys! Little chit chat and she pulled us in close for a photo. Loved that woman.

Table behind us, the woman has massive dietary restrictions and is pissed this limited menu doesn’t accommodate her. Um, review a menu prior to coming if you can’t have nuts, dairy, gluten and meat. Chef came out for 10 min to figure out what she can eat. People are insufferable.

I’m in radiology waiting for an ultrasound. A man was having issues with insurance to get his procedure. Another man here just walked up and paid it for him as he was out in the hallway freaking out. These procedures aren’t cheap. He’s a bit shocked someone would do that. Me too.

Went for the ultrasound/biopsy of my neck on the opposite side of where I had throat cancer. After poking and prodding, scope and ultrasound, no biopsy needed. All lymph nodes were normal looking and size, despite PET scan warning.
