Today's sweet moment was a DM from a former student with a "burning question" that they could have easily asked Alexa, Siri, or Google, but knew that even years later they could ask Mama Walker and she would know and reply.

I needed this today. Usually super strict about using algebra steps for this skill still early in the school year, but this one justified every choice/non-choice brilliantly, and then shows me they know the alg steps in the next problem. Win! @LizL0vesMath @MabralovesMath

@coyleryan1983 @neilbelieves Like "It's the greatest show..." I have a bias for S 4 as a middle school teacher, but I agree if we are talking quality & one of Simon's main goals, it's S 3. As I got older S 2 became so much more. And S 5, well, it's like he told us it was coming. Def all are 10/10.

@Mathowitz Is this the nursing school one? Drop by Walmart & buy some scrubs (joking). I did love the short time they allowed us to wear scrubs on campus when we didn't know all we now know about COVID. I care for 2 elderly parents & it made it easy to change clothes in transit. Good Luck!

Spent the evening at Moody Performance Hall, Dallas, TX enjoying the Dallas Chamber Symphony play music commissioned a decade ago while Hitchcocks great silent film The Lodger aired behind. Bonus: the composer was in the house sitting across the aisle from us. Score! Pun intended
