Quick reminder that Balmain specifically does NOT do typical ambassadors. Hongjoong is what amounts to one, but they specifically don't do that in the traditional sense. Balmain Army are friends of the brand, not paid advertisers with no involvement like typical ambassadors.
Balmain was in a bad place after 10 years of poor direction before Oliver became the creative director. Like the brand was facing bankruptcy bad. But now it's turned around to being one of the top luxury brands again thanks to the way he runs things, including ads and ambassadors
