Never used Slack @andrew__reed...
As someone who has never used Slack, watching someone next to you on a plane spend 5 hours frantically responding to notifications while people emoji react to everything she says. seems a little crazy

🚨 $100B+ Responsibility of Emerging Managers I am so grateful to be an investor at this point in history. The cadence of advancements in new technology, innovation, and the pace of learning is incredible. I am also fortunate to be in a community with many other emerging managers, and collectively, we have a massive responsibility and opportunity for global economic impact. This piece that I am sharing today is something I have thought about extensively, and I am hopeful that it inspires continued dialogue around critical topics, including: ⭐ With the average lifetime of the top funds being 25+ years, there are inevitable leadership shifts in the venture landscape. So, who will step up, and what are the repercussions if the next set of investors fails to deliver? ⭐ What types of investments do we need to make to ensure maximum economic impact - domestically, globally, and for LPs? ⭐ How mentorship is essential to the emerging manager ecosystem. I encourage you to read "The $100B+ Responsibility of Emerging Managers" and welcome conversation and discussion. I would love to hear your thoughts

if you want to know why @southpkcommons has such a great community and great staff its because of this mentality. Great Leadership @adityaag this mental framework has a lot of commonalities with incredible sports teams! We believe in the same core principles @ExceptionalCap.
I hate it when someone says "That person used to work FOR me". Nah man, great people don't work for other people. They work for something they believe in. Something that is larger than any one person. I have managed large orgs. All of those people used to work WITH me. We built great things together. I played a role. They played a role. The beauty of Silicon Valley is that someone who used to work "FOR" you could end up being your BOSS. Don't ever forget that.

@eladgil Hey, safe travels my friend! Below we created a Miami Notion for friends, founders and investors visiting. The Notion has the coolest restaurants, things to do, and areas to visit.
Going to be in Miami for a few days for work (no really!) Anything worth doing/eating/seeing if I end up with a free hour or two?

I've been in South East Asia for a few weeks, and @GrabID @gojekindonesia is so much better than @Uber. Why is that?

Lets go @samdblond 🚀
I moved back to SF. I believe building our company in the office 5+ days / week in SF gives us the highest probability of building a generational tech company. The talent density is second to none and it's where our customers are.

Chun and the @montereyai team are incredible builders. We were lucky enough to be one of their first investors, but more importantly, they gave us an opportunity to be on their cap-table when Exceptional Capital first started. Congratulations on the acquisition @reforge @ycombinator
Big news! Monterey AI is joining @reforge . We’re joining forces with a team that deeply believes in a future in which product teams could think, work, and build differently with AI. Together, we are building the best Expert Training and AI tools for Product and Growth Teams. To our investors and customers, your early support meant the world to us—thank you. We’re working harder to continue building something you can be proud to have believed in from the start. So what’s next? - Today we are rebranding Monterey AI to Reforge Insight Analytics - Accelerating the current product development with more resources - In the coming weeks, we’ll be launching three new major offerings with Reforge. Onwards!
