It was 2 years ago today that we said so long for now to Frank Sofia, affectionately known as “S,” our social studies teacher at Liverpool High School. He was the kindest, loving and most humble man. I Was certainly not his best student but he loved us all the same! 30 years after I graduated I was honored to present at Liverpool HS my alma mater to the entire school, and Mr. Sofia came out to see me. What a joy to put my belt around a true Champion in life! Love you my friend. You are greatly missed. RIP
