@robmarkcole With Open-Access APC charges of >2k EUR, the "for free" part could be fixed. Would also make reviewers more accountable for their service and (probably) increase the quality of the review.

In SatCLIP we didn't sample many images over coastlines so I wouldn't expect it to work particularly well. But a Ocean/CoastalSatCLIP would be nice to build by getting more satellite data and training a model specifically to distinguish coastal areas. Just S2 data is only over coastal areas. Not open oceans. Would building such a model be helpful/can be integrated for Global Fishing Watch applications @davidkroodsma? May be a nice topic to collaborate on.
